He brings in 20 years of experience from Earth Moving OEM and Engineering consultancy. He began his carrier as Graduate Engineer in one of the India's leading OEM and was involved in many functions like concept design, Engineering and product development, Production Management and Quality Management. development for Earthmoving & Heavy Engineering requirements. Prior to his association with Merritt, Kumar was heading a leading engineering firm as Director and has taken the company to the global level. Kumar holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mysore. He has been awarded many times for his out-off-box engineering solutions.

Kumar V - General Manager Projects
Kumar V is the technical force behind the Team-Merritt. He joined Merritt with more than 25 year of engineering and design experience from Earthmoving and Heavy Engineering Industries. He was in charge of various design & development of Earthmoving & Mining Equipments. He is responsible for the overall service delivery covering all the business verticals of Merritt.
His technical & application experience in domains of earthmoving & heavy engineering adds value to the solution development and service delivery. In his current profile he is responsible for budgeting; estimating, project management, resource management, delivery management, risk management and quality management activities and contributes to the process improvement and best practices.
Kumar's areas of expertise are design and development of axles for heavy engineering equipments, transmission & drive systems, bearings & parking breaks. Kumar holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Mysore University.

Manjunath Burli – In charge of CAE & Learning Center
Manjunath heads the Merritt CAE team; he brings in more than a decade of experience in Computer Aided Engineering and Simulation. He is responsible for managing, integrating and delivering CAE requirements. He is a great motivational force behind the Team-Merritt and well known for his technical acumen.
Manjunath has worked with few leading companies in his carrier like Caterpillar, Advanced Product Design And Prototyping, Indian Institute of Science, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited & Taneja Aerospace and Aviation. His expertise in Automotive, Aerospace & Off-Highway domain adds more muscles to Merritt capabilities. |

He is also a 6 Sigma Green Belt Certified and he focuses on evolving best project management practices. Manjunath holds a Masters in Production Management and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Karnataka University.

Ashok – Heavy Engineering Structures
Ashoka brings in 23 years of domain expertise in design of structures for Off-Highway and automotive domain. He has a rich experience of design and development of structures for various earth moving and heavy engineering equipments. Some of his rewarding works includes design and development of structure for rock drilling machines, steering system for heavy engineering equipments, boom structures for excavators, door structures, engine hood and other structural aggregates for heavy engineering equipments. He is the backbone of Merritt Structural Team.

Jayaprakash – Product Development
Vastly experienced, with more than 30 years in design and development of Off-Highway products, Jayaprakash heads the Off-Highway product design requirements for Merritt team. He has several successful design and developments projects to his belt. He has spear headed the design of wheel loader, design and development of work attachments like front shovel, backhoe, buckets, various hydraulic aggregates, structural and power line aggregates. With his experience and technical known how, Merritt team is well positioned to take up any engineering challenges in design and development of Off-Highway equipments.

Jagadish – Hydraulics
With over 35 years of experience in Hydraulic System Design, Jagadish guides the design team to evaluate, design and develop the best hydraulic solutions for Heavy Engineering, Earth Moving, Mining, Drilling and automotive requirements. He has led various system design initiatives like designed and developed hydrostatic drive systems for dump trucks, established Fluid Power Technology lab for testing of heavy engineering equipments, designed & developed many hydraulic components and Systems for heavy engineering equipments.

Balakrishna D – Product Integration
Balakrishna has over 35 years of R&D experience in Off-Highway and Heavy Engineering Industry. He supports the product development team in the complex product integration activities. He has worked as chief of R&D for a Earth Moving Equipments Manufacturer. He has spear headed various prestigious projects in heavy engineering field and most of the products are designed, developed and were best performer in the field. He brings in vast experience in R&D, Design & Development, Manufacturing and testing of products. He is recipient of R&D Excellence award from the government of India for his contribution.

Dhananjaya B L – In-charge of Operations & Customer Relations
Dhananjaya B L is responsible for operations & administration, project support & customer relationship management. He is also responsible for resource integration and account management. Dhananjaya comes with rich experience of customer relationship management and strong technical acumen. Prior to his current role he has worked with both manufacturing as well as IT services companies. He started his carrier as Marketing Representative in Caterpillar and then worked with Wipro as Senior Marketing Representative and with a start-up Engineering firm as Business Development Manager. He was responsible for developing and building complete marketing and sales setup and ERP system for the company operations and also in developing the service delivery models. He played key role in growth of the company from 3 engineers to 120 design engineering team. He has the experience of working in a multicultural environment and worked from various Southeast Asian counties. |

Dhananjaya holds a Masters in Business Development and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. He keeps the clock ticking for Merritt, with main focus on enhancing the operational efficiency and through put. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. |

Vinay Kumar – In-charge of Business Development
Vinay Kumar holds a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Vinay started his carrier as Field Sales Officer with an Industrial Equipments Manufacturer and then worked as Asst. Manager Business Development with a leading Engineering Consultancy Firm and was responsible for business development activities for Australia and Middle East regions. He was instrumental in developing the market and building the strong customer base and he played key role in implementation of ISO for the department.
In his present role he is responsible for enhancing company’s visibility to the market and to identify and develop new avenues for the business. His business development experience and strong customer interaction abilities have made Merritt to secure its elite customers. |
